A Low Pressure System Over East Scotian Slope Will Move To Lie Near Sable Island This Afternoon Where It Will Gradually Intensify. The System Will Slowly Drift Eastward On Friday Reaching The Southern Grand Banks By Evening. Strong To Gale Force East To Northeast Winds Will Develop Ahead Of The Low As It Begins To Intensify. Strong To Gale Force Northwesterly Winds Are Forecast In Its Wake.

Marine Interests Are Advised That Gale Warnings Are In Effect For Eastern Shore - Eastern Half, Sable - Eastern Half, East Scotian Slope - Eastern Half, Fourchu, Banquereau - Southern Half And Laurentian Fan - Northeastern Half.
